Borrowed from Ancient Greek μετανοῆτε (metanoête), subjunctive of μετανοῶ (metanoô, “to repent”), from the Gospel of Luke:

οὐχί, λέγω ὑμῖν, ἀλλ’ ἐὰν μὴ μετανοῆτε, πάντες ὁμοίως ἀπολεῖσθε.
